Rohtang pass is on the highway to (Leh) Keylong. It is a gateway to Leh valley, Pangi and Lahaul Spiti. The best time to visit the pass is from May to November. It is the best spot for adventure enthusiasts. There are various activities like snow scooter, skiing and mountain biking. The one who loves nature can enjoy beautiful views of peaks, glaciers and Chandra River that flows down in Lahaul Spiti.

Rohtang pass temperature is extremely rough. It remains closed during winters but is open from June to October for motor vehicles.
You need to create Rohtang pass permit to visit there. It is applicable to all the vehicles and the tax is applicable on daily basis. The permit is issued on daily basis based on daily quota. It is defined by National Green Tribunal (NGT)/District Administration.
